With e-fleet future-proof on the go

Saving costs with e-mobility for companies

E-mobility is a sensible choice today not only from an ecological but also from an economic point of view. In combination with a company-owned photovoltaic system, converting the company fleet to electric cars pays off particularly well, as the electric cars are charged with cheap electricity from the company’s own roof.

Advantages of e-fleets for companies

  • Reduce fuel & running costs – With an electric fleet, companies not only cut expensive fuel costs, but electric cars are also extremely cost-effective in terms of ongoing operating costs.
  • Improve the CO2 balance – Green e-mobility is an easy way to meet climate targets.
  • Produce your own fuel – Those who charge their e-fleet with electricity from their own photovoltaic system save additional costs.

Save money with an electric fleet

E-mobility is a sensible choice today not only from an ecological but also from an economic point of view. Electricity is far cheaper than diesel or petrol. In addition to the lower fuel costs, the running costs of electric cars are also lower, as the service requirements are extremely low.

Those who rely on sustainable mobility today not only comply with climate regulations and standards, but are often rewarded with tax advantages. What’s more, customers, who are becoming increasingly climate-conscious, will also appreciate sustainable corporate behaviour.

E-mobility with self-generated solar power

Photovoltaics and electromobility pay off particularly well when combined with each other. This is because electric cars can be charged particularly cheaply and flexibly with electricity from a company’s own PV system. Furthermore, by charging an electric fleet, a particularly large amount of a company’s self-generated solar power can be used at source - meaning that very little is fed into the public grid. The PV system pays for itself even faster due to the high degree of self-consumption.

In addition to the economic advantages, ecological arguments are also playing an increasingly important role. By using electricity from a company’s own roof, electric cars are charged with green, local electricity. This also reduces CO2 consumption.

How e-mobility works for companies
Solar modules Solar modules can be installed on roofs as well as in open spaces and generate electrical energy when exposed to the sun. This energy is transferred to the inverter.
1
Inverter The inverter is the control centre of every photovoltaic system. It converts the generated direct current into alternating current, optimises the yield, regulates energy flows and checks the function of the system.
2
Fronius Smart Meter In order to use the self-generated energy in the most effective way, it is important to be able to read out all energy flows. The Fronius Smart Meter takes care of this. By recording the load curve, it lays the foundation for meaningful energy management and thus for maximising solar self-consumption.
3
E-charging station An e-charging station provides the e-fleet with the right amount of electricity from the photovoltaic system or the grid.
