Recap

From September 11 to 15, 2023, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN—the world’s leading trade fair for welding and cutting—took place in Essen, Germany. Around 40,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries made their way here to discover the latest trends in joining, cutting, and coating technology.

We were also represented with an impressive 1,100 m² trade fair stand and took the opportunity to position ourselves once again as the technology and innovation leader in the industry. Visitors showed a lively interest not only in our high-end welding solutions, in which energy, material, and time are used particularly efficiently, but also in the ways we are addressing the shortage of skilled workers as well as health and safety.

Shortage of Skilled Workers

In relation to highly qualified welding personnel in particular, the shortage of skilled workers is a universal issue. Excellent welding training and a high level of user-friendliness in all of our products are two ways that we are dealing with this challenge at Fronius.
